The Randall Town Hall parking lot in Bassett will be sealed and striped, after action taken by the Town Board last week.
The board accepted a bid for $2,925 for the work from Ghostbusters.
Supervisor Mike Halvorson said the work is needed to help preserve the lot. He suggested the striping too since the lot’s markings are almost impossible to see now.
“It’s cracking severely, it’s falling into disrepair,” Halvorson said of the lot.
The work was initially to be done last year, but funds ended up not being available. The contractor is honoring the same price as proposed last year, Halvorson.
The work is to be paid for out of the $5,000 Town Hall repair budget, of which $600 has already been spent.
The work will include both the main lot and the accessible parking lot.
Mike you should take a look at 93rd street. It’s in worst shape than your parking lot.
