The Lakeland Junior softball team recently won their district tournament and then this weekend won the state tournament for the right to representWisconsin in the Central Region Junior Girls Tournament in Akron, Ohio. They will be traveling Friday, Aug. 5 and play through the 10th. The winner of this tournament will get to represent the Central Region in Little League Junior Girls World Series.
Members of the team are: Pam Anderson, Angela Nevoso, Bridget Nelson, Ashley Henningfield, Jessica Rainey, Kailey McCormack, Megan Jazdzewski, Ashley Alter, Ashley Barsuli, Miranda Nobile and Emilee Nelson.
