The Sharing Center, 7001 236th Ave. in Paddock Lake is still looking for sponsors for its annual Back-to -School Program.
Groups or individuals to sponsor students in Western Kenosha County schools West of the I are needed. Each sponsor will be given a class supplies list for the particular school or grade chosen. Don’t have a choice? The center will assign you a child or children.
The center is asking for a backpack to be filled with the school supply list. If you cannot do this, they welcome any individual school supplies also. Pencils,backpacks, paper, notebooks, glue, Kleenex., etc. are all needed.

The center’s Back-to-School Fair is on Aug. 20, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the center; that is the day of distribution.
Last year, with the help of the Community, the center was able to supply 287 children with backpacks filled with school supplies.
