2011 – 2012 Wisconsin Lightning Fastpitch Tryouts for girls ages 7 – 18 years old looking to join a competitive fastpitch organization will be Aug. 13 and 14 at Wilmot High School.
The teams play in local, state and national competitions, including ASA, NSA and USSSA tournaments.
Those trying out should bring softball gear (glove, cleats, helmets and bats) and plenty to drink.

Tryout schedule is as follows:
- 8U — 8 to 9 a.m.
- 10U — 9 to 10:30 a.m.
- 12U — 10:30 a.m. to noon.
- 14U — 1 to 2:30 p.m.
- 16U — 3 to 5 p.m.
- 18U — 3 to 5 p.m.
