Tomorrow is primary day for residents of the 22nd State Senate District.
Voters will be choosing between Bristol resident Fred Ekornaas and Pleasant Prairie resident Jonathon Steitz as the Republican candidate to face-off against incumbent Democrat Robert Wirch on Aug. 16. The election is a result of a successful recall election petition. All of Western Kenosha County is in the 22nd District except for Wheatland.
This will also be the first instance of a special election in which all Salem voters will vote at Town Hall since the Town Board a combined polling places for special elections. More info on the details of voting in Salem are available here.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
