At 2:06 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue and Silver Lake Fire and Rescue are responding to a report of a boat on fire on Silver Lake. The county Dive Team also is being called to quarters.
Dispatch reports that there are occupants of the boat in the water.
UPDATE 2:08 p.m. — Dispatch reports that a pontoon boat and a kayaker are giving aid to the people in the water.
UPDATE 2:10 p.m. — Dispatch reports that now disabled boat is about 200 feet out from east side of the lake. A third boat now also lending aid.
UPDATE 2:12 p.m. — Deputy observing scene reports that no flames visible to him.
UPDATE 2:20 p.m. — Silver Lake Water Patrol towing disabled boat to shore.
UPDATE 2:26 p.m. — Silver Lake Water Patrol reports that everyone is accounted for. Dive team standing down.
