At 4:34 p.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a boat floating on Lake George.
Dispatch reports that the boat is apparently unattended and may have been floating free for as much as two hours.
UPDATE 4:49 p.m. — Boat owner on scene. Confirms no incident. Dive team members being called off.
UPDATE 4:55 p.m. — Bristol Fire Department units returning to quarters except chief.
UPDATE 4:58 p.m. — Chief also leaving scene.
