Wilmot football to host Future Panthers camp

Wilmot Football will conduct “Future Panther” Skills Monday July 11 through Thursday July 14.

Cost of $40  includes T-shirt and a “season ticket” for all Panther Football home games (with paid adult).For families with more than one player registering cost is $25 per player.

Registration and money is due Friday, July 8. Drop your forms and money at the attendance office. Walk ups are welcome, but you may have to wait a day or two for t-shirts.

The camp will be held at Wilmot Union High School, Bucci Field or the Fieldhouse in case of inclement weather.

This is a non-contact Football Camp; there are no pads or helmets required. Athletes will be coached on stretching, plyometrics, learning Wilmot’s offense, defense and special teams, and taking part in fundamental football drills that will build a solid foundation for success in their youth football leagues. Emphasis on proper football technique will be stressed. All Bulldogs and Vikings players as well as other local youth coaches are invited to the camp to take part and ask questions. You do not have to be active in youth football or even have played before to attend this camp.  Players will have the opportunity to learn basics and drills about every position on the football field Players will practice skills associated with their position groups on offense and defense and special teams.

Camp will be broken into two group: Group 1 = 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders; Group 2=6th, 7th and 8th Graders:

Camp Staff includes Head Varsity Football Coach Mike Greinke  and Erick Kaiser, Jason Paproth , Pete Byrne, Jared Franz, Erick Kaiser, Keiya Square, Trey Bell, Nic Purtee and Adam Knoll. Former and current players will be assisting in the camp.
