The Wilmot Union High School softball team defeated Waterford 4-0 at Wilmot on Tuesday to advance to the Sectional finals Friday in Janesville.
Wilmot’s Kristen Wood pitched another shutout and Bailey Sheehan hit a home run.
Wilmot plays the winner of the Westosha Central / Ft. Atkinson game that is also being played today.
UPDATE 7:36 p.m. — Fort Atkinson beat Central 4-2. Wilmot will play Ft. Atkinson Friday at 1 p.m. in Janesville.
