Brighton School activities update

Here is an update on activities at Brighton School supplied by the school:

Spring has finally arrived in Wisconsin and the change of season brings a busy time of year at Brighton Elementary School. During the month of April, the Brighton Drama Troupe performed their annual play. This year’s selection, Whining ‘N’ Dining at the Snack ‘N’ Yak, under the talented direction of Jen Kofron was a huge success. All the time and effort the cast, crew, and parents invested in this play was evident. Also in April, ten eighth grade girls took advantage of the opportunity to attend the “Women in Science” conference held at the University of Wisconsin Parkside. These young ladies explored careers in various science fields. The month of May brings even more activities. On May 2nd, six eighth grades students took advantage of the opportunity to attend Kenosha County’s Law Day sponsored by the American Legion. Students were given the opportunity to learn about numerous legal careers through interaction with elected officials, law enforcement, and judges. Brighton is also looking forward to the annual spring dance on May 6th and our very popular family lunch on May 20th . A spring filled with activities has “sprung” at Brighton Elementary School.
