At 5:12 p.m., the National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for southwestern Kenosha County.
The warning is in effect until 6 p.m.
The warning predicts the following arrival times for the storm:
- Powers Lake and Twin Lakes around 5:50 p.m.
- Silver Lake, Camp Lake and Paddock Lake around 6 p.m.
Other locations impacted include Slades Corners, Bassett and New Munster, the NWS says.
Storms are occurring in the Harvard, Illinois area and moving toward us.
