At 7:11 a.m., Salem Fire/Rescue and Silver Lake Rescue are responding to the 29900 block of 60th Street (Highway K), Brighton for a investigation of a fire behind a home.
UPDATE 7:13 p.m. — Dispatch reports that fire was reported by a passerby who saw flames and black smoke, but did not believe any structure was on fire. No permit for a burn at that location found.
UPDATE 7:18 p.m. — Residents are attending burn. Fire department instructed to respond non-emergency.
