At about 8:35 a.m., Kenosha County Joint Dispatch is reporting that a train stopped along the Canadian National line through Salem is experiencing mechanical problems.
The train has not struck anything.
The train is blocking a number of crossing, including the Highway C crossing.
UPDATE 8:58 a.m. — Deputy reports that train extends south of Highway JF.
