At about 5:25 p.m., units from Bristol Fire and Rescue, Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue and Newport Fire Department (Ill.) are responding to a report of a crash in the 12500 block of Interstate 94.
Dispatch reports that the crash involves a motorcycle and one other vehicle. The crash is in the southbound lanes. There is one patient, who is conscious and breathing.
UPDATE 5:27 p.m. — Deputy at the scene reports that crash is actually south of the state line in Illinois. Traffic reportedly has backed up “halfway to (Highway) 165, he reports.
UPDATE 5:28 p.m. — A Bristol unit is returning to quarters.
UPDATE 5:29 p.m. — Dispatch says personnel on scene reports crash is in the inside lane and in Illinois.
UPDATE 5:32 p.m. — Deputy reports traffic is “moving OK here.”
