At about 10:40 am., there’s a large amount of black smoke coming from the area of Highway K and EW (232nd Avenue).
From what I could see from the road, it looks like a large amount of debris being burned on a farm. I did see a deputy squad leaving the property as I drove by.
UPDATE 10:48 p.m. — Salem Fire/Rescue responding to the scene to investigate. Deputy on the scene reported to dispatch that an old shed may be being burnt down by property owner. Fire is responding non-emergency.
