Wheatland Egg Hunt coverage

The wet weather did not deter the Wheatland Fire Department Auxiliary from hosting its egg hunt today.

Instead of holding the hunt out on the ballfield at New Munster Park, the festivities moved to the firehouse, inside and dry.

Some 1,200 eggs were stuffed with candy and other prizes for the hunt. Some eggs held a golden ticket that entitled the holder to pick an extra special prize.
