The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department has issued the following statement regarding recent daytime burglaries in Western Kenosha County:
Areas West of I-94 and along the southern border of Kenosha County have seen a rash of daytime burglaries. Kenosha County deputies have been dealing with multiple burglaries that have occurred in this area over the past few weeks. Homes that are unoccupied during the day have been the target of the offenders. Sheriff David Beth urges people to be vigilant in their neighborhoods. “Make sure to report any strange activities or suspicious vehicles in your neighborhoodâ€, says Sheriff Beth. Deputies will be committing extra time to catch these bad guys, but folks who live where the crimes are being committed can provide valuable help. Sheriff Beth said, “Don’t be afraid to call. We want to check out every lead. We will do whatever it takes to catch these guys.†To provide non-emergency information call 653-6600. Call 9-1-1 for emergencies.
Note: West of the I readers have reported to us incidents this week in the Rock Lake area and in Randall. — DH
