The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department is making notification of the release of convicted sex offender Alan R. Bercklin into Western Kenosha County.

Bercklin “touched the clothed vaginal area of two young female acquaintances ages 9 and 8 on multiple occasions,” a bulletin from the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department said.

Bercklin was to be placed in the community Monday, April 11 after being released from prison. He will be residing within a mile radius of Highways 75 and Highway JB in Brighton and is on a short-range electronic monitoring system.

Bercklin has been ordered to have no unsupervised contact with minors, no taverns, bars or liquor stores. He is to have no contact with his victims and is not to consume alcohol or drugs. He must comply with standard sex offender rules, face-to-face contact with law enforcement is required and he must comply with all requirements and be a lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration Program.

Bercklin is not wanted by the Sheriff’s Department at this time.

“This notification is not intended to alarm the community, but rather it is our belief that an informed community is a safer community,” the Sheriff’s Department bulletin says.

Why isn’t he still in jail? For what he did there is no reason for that man to be out prison for touch children!
