At 6:52 p.m., sheriff’s deputies and state patrol are responding to a report of a crash in the northbound lanes of I-94, at the Highway N overpass.
Dispatch says one vehicle hit a median and another vehicle may also be involved. Stopped car is in the middle lane, personnel on the scene reports.
Dispatch reports that woman driving the car that hit the median could not get out by the door, so she crawled out the window.
UPDATE 6:55 p.m. — Driver is now reporting a head injury and is requesting an ambulance, the state patrol officer reports. Right hand lane being blocked by squad car.
UPDATE 6:56 p.m. — Somers Fire Department responding to scene.
