Kenosha County Bomb Squad assists in Walworth County

Members of the Kenosha County Bomb Squad assisted the Walworth County Sheriff’s Department with some found dynamite today.

A contractor digging near a home foundation in Lake Geneva, just south of the Wal-Mart there, unearthed nine metal tubes that appeared to be dynamite, information from KCSD said.

The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad responded at around 11 a.m. and did find nine sticks of dynamite.

Plans were for the bomb squad to disrupt the dynamite in place, Sgt. Bill Beth, KCSD spokesman, said.
