Come visit the westofthei.com crew — and a whole lot of other area business and organizations — at The 2011 Lakes Area Business Expo will be held on today, at Wilmot Union High School.
The Expo will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $2 or $1 with a non-perishable food item. All food donations will be given to the Twin Lakes Area Food Pantry.
New at this year’s Business Expo is a Children’s Activity Area with games and face painting.
This year’s Expo will include the Passport to the Expo activity. All adults entering the Expo will be handed a postcard with questions submitted by the businesses that are exhibiting. Participants can find the answers by visiting the booths. Once they have answered all of the questions, their completed postcard becomes an entry in a raffle. Top prize is a $200 gift card.
This year also will feature a Children’s Passport to the Expo, designed to keep children engaged while their parents explore the business booths. A filled out card gets the participant a chance at winning day passes to Monkey Joe’s.
You can buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win a basket. Eleven will be on display, some valued at over $150 in prizes.
Informative mini-seminars also will be available again this year.
Food will be available for purchase at the event.
