Snow globs: Maybe an inch before it’s done

Seems like weather terms have really proliferated in recent years. For example, who knew about wintery mix before 2008?

I think a new term needs to be coined for what’s falling from the sky this morning. It’s not flakes falling, but wet, groups of flakes. How about snow globs?

It’s wet and covering quickly. I did some of the most pointless shoveling ever this morning , as the driveway quickly filled up with snow globs covering what I had already cleared.

The National Weather Service says we could get an inch of accumulation before it’s all over around noon.

There’s a 20 percent chance of snow/rain again Saturday.
