Wheatland Center student’s poster selected for recognition

Jesstys Volbrecht, a Wheatland Center School sixth grader, had her poster selected from over 4,300 entries in the Greater Kenosha Community Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs (ATOD) Awareness poster contest.

This year’s theme was “It takes responsibility to be drug-free.” Jesstys’ winning poster will be highlighted during ATOD Awareness Week (April 9 – 15, 2011) at a Student Recognition Brunch for all the contest winners and their families.

This year’s burnch will be held Saturday, April 9, at Tremper High School, in Kenosha.
