Pringle Nature Center was the recipient of a grant from the Kloss Foundation. With this grant the center was able to purchase program supplies for their education programs as well as a StarLab Planetarium for school programs and snowshoes for the general public to rent.

The general public can rent the snowshoes, Tuesday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for $5/pair. Snowshoes must remain on the property and be returned prior to the nature center closing.

The StarLab Planetarium is an inflatable, transportable planetarium that provides a wide variety of programs about space. Pringle will hold a public viewing of the StarLab at a later date to be announced.

I am so excited for the possibility that my children’s school will be able to use the StarLab! They had one at my school district when I was growing up in Arizona and it was always so fun and exciting.

I’ll even make it to the public viewing, just so I can relive my childhood memories of it. 🙂
