Lt. John Andrews
Funeral arrangements for Lt. John J. Andrews of the Twin Lakes Police Department, who died in an off-duty, one-vehicle accident on Saturday, Feb. 19, in Racine County, are as follows:
Visitation will be held at the Hales Corners Lutheran Church, 12300 West Janesville Road, Hales Corners, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. with a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011. Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to John’s children – ages 14 & 8 would be appreciated. Donations can be made to the Andrews Family Fund at any Citizen’s Bank of Mukwonago branch (12 branches throughout the Muskego, Waukesha area) or by mailing the donation to the Citizens Bank of Mukwonago at W236S7050 Big Bend Drive, Big Bend, WI 53103-0250.
Lt. Andrews had served with the Twin Lakes Police Department since January 2010 and also served with the Big Bend Police Department, as a part-time investigator since January 2009. Lieutenant Andrews retired from the Milwaukee Police Department as a detective lieutenant in 2008 after a very distinguished 25-year career.
