Early — and quite sparse — vote totals in the Bristol village president primary show Mike Farrell with the lead with 14 votes. Colleen Fisch has 9 votes and Ruth Atwood has 6.
This is with one of two polling places reporting preliminary results.
The top two vote getters will advance to the April 5 election. Incumbent Richard Gossling is not running for re-election. All three candidates have served on the village or town boards.
UPDATE 8:26 p.m. — New results have Farrell with 183 votes, Atwood with 169 votes and Fisch with 152 votes. This with both polls reporting preliminary results.
UPDATE 8:34 p.m. — FINAL un-official results are:
- Farrell 183 votes.
- Atwood 169 votes.
- Fisch 152 votes
Farrell and Atwood will now square off to become the next village president on April 5.
