Units responding to report of gas smell

At 2:23 p.m., units from Salem Fire/Rescue, Wilmot and Salem stations, are responding to a report of a gas smell at a residence in the 27000 block of Camp Lake Road.

Dispatch says residents are reporting strong smell and whooshing sound coming from a garage that does have gas service.

UPDATE 2:26 p.m. — Trevor station units now being called to scene too.

UPDATE 2:29 p.m. — Deputy being called to scene to control traffic.

UPDATE 2:57 p.m. — We Energies on scene. Deputy leaving scene as no traffic problems are developing.
