At about 5:43 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue units from the Salem and Trevor stations and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a smoke alarm sounding in the 24500 block of 118th Street, Trevor.
Dispatch reports that the report was phoned in by a neighbor who says the house is vacant, but he can hear the alarm going off.
First personnel on scene reports no signs of smoke or fire showing.
