The 20th — and 4th annual rebirth — of winter bed races took place at the Twin Lakes Country Club.
The event was sponsored by Mad Dan’s Restaurant and Twin Lakes Country Club.
The Margaritaville team took first place in the races, which pit teams pushing modified beds around a snow covered course. One team member is required to ride on the bed, which has to start as a real bed.
In the final race, the teams, Margaritaville and Mad Dan’s, were even matched until Mad Dan’s trapped a cone marking the course under their bed, slowing them considerably. Here’s the video:
