At 12:24 p.m., a sheriff’s deputy is responding to a report of crash on southbound I-94 around the Highway 165 on ramp that may involve two semi-tractor trailers and a car.
UPDATE 12:27 p.m. — Additional sheriff’s squad responding. First squad on scene reports that traffic is backing up.
UPDATE 12:28 p.m. — Vehicles are blocking the two right lanes.Traffic will be diverted to the left.
UPDATE 12:33 p.m. — Deputy on scene reports that one jack-knifed semi is involved. Truck is leaking fuel.
UPDATE 12:35 p.m. — Pleasant Prairie Fire Department being dispatched ot deal with spilled fuel.
UPDATE 12:39 p.m. — Dispatch reports to fire department that crash involves one jack-knifed semi and a car. Fuel spill called minor.
UPDATE 12:54 p.m. – Some additional info from Sgt. Bill Beth, Sheriff’s Department spokesman: On ramp for southbound I-94 from Highway 165 closed. No injuries reported so far.
UPDATE 1:15 p.m. — Per scanner transmission: Lanes all open, ramp still closed.
UPDATE 1:45 p.m. — Per scanner: Ramp still closed for clean-up. Sgt. Beth reports that crash involved two semi tractor-trailers.
