Vacancy opens on Salem School Board

Jim Gere has resigned from the Salem School Board because he has moved out of the school district, board President Shane Gerber has announced.

The district will now be accepting letters of interest from people willing to fill out Gere’s term, which is scheduled to end in April 2012, Gerber said.

Those interested should send a letter addressed to Gerber and district administrator David Milz in care of the school at: 8828 Antioch Road, Salem, WI 53168

If multiple letters of interest are received, board representatives may interview prospective appointees, Gerber said.
