The St. Alphonsus Chili cook-off will take place Saturday, Jan. 15, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the St. Alphonsus Parish Center, 6301 344th Ave. New Munster.
Vote for your favorite; you be the judge. Who’s the best? Is it: dad’s, mom’s, the pub’s, restaurant’s, fire department’s or local cook’s?
Admission includes all you can eat — chili, baked potato, w/toppings, rolls, hotdogs, milk, coffee and dessert. Soda and beer will be available for purchase.
Tickets: Adults, $6.50 in advance, $7 at the door; children 4 to 14, $3 in advance, $3.50 at the door. Children under 4 are free.
