On Sunday, Jan. 23, Destiny Girls Basketball will be hosting a 9-pin Bowling Fundraiser at 1 p.m. to benefit Sue Morton, breast cancer survivor.
On that day, people from Destiny and surrounding communities will come together to enjoy a day of fun and togetherness to raise funds to help the Morton family pay for the bills incurred during Sue’s illness.
The event will include raffles, silent auction and bake sale.
Local businesses and individuals are being asked to donate an item (or two) in any of the above mentioned areas.
All proceeds generated from the fundraiser will go directly to the Morton Family to help with their expenses.
