The Western Kenosha County Youth Football League Bulldog Middleweight Superbowl Championship team this past year had an undefeated season, 12-0. But the audible they called on how to use money collected for coaches gifts was another great call.
The team decided to donate the money they were planning on using for coaches’ gifts to the Sharing Center. The donation was over $280.
Head Coach Mike Nindl, said he wanted to show the boys that there is more to life than football.
The donation was directed to The Sharing Center because of the local families it serves. The money was used to help five families this Christmas put presents under the tree.
