Donations collected at a free pictures with Santa event at Wilmot Mountain will benefit the Wilmot High School Cheerleaders’ trip to the National High School Cheerleading Competition in Orlando this February.
Those participating can have their photo taken with Santa and Snow Yeti, the ski hill’s new mascot, from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Dec. 18. Please bring your own camera for pictures; cameras will not be supplied. Pictures will be taken outside near the ski hill!
This is the first time in school history that the cheerleaders have qualified to attend the ESPN televised national cheerleading competition. They will be competing with hundreds of teams from all over the country for a national title.
