At 7:43 a.m., Paris Fire and Rescue and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a phone report of a smell of natural gas in the 4700 block of Highway MB (152nd Avenue), Paris.
UPDATE 7:56 a.m. — Deputy on scene reports more of a swampy rotten egg smell than natural gas smell. He sees nothing obvious that would cause a gas leak smell. Fire units still responding.
UPDATE around 8:15 a.m. — Fire units have investigated and found no gas leak. Units begin returning to quarters.
