Meals On Wheels and The Westosha Community Center along with their sponsor PATS Services, Inc. announce the 2010 Bowls ‘n Bakers event.
This soup tasting contest will feature soups from area restaurants. Vote for your favorite soup and receive a commemorative soup mug.
The event will take place Tuesday, Nov. 16, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Bristol Oaks Country Club, 16801 75th St. (Highway 50), Bristol. Tickets are $15.
Soups and restaurants will be:
- Binanti’s Taste of Italy, Crab Bisque.
- Brat Stop, Chicken Tortilla.
- Bristol 45 Diner, Creamy Taco.
- Bristol Oaks Country Club, TBA.
- Colony House, Cream of Potato with Bacon.
- Linda’s Wilmot Café, Cream of Chicken and Rice.
- Mad Dan’s Family Restaurant, Cream of Garden Vegetable.
- Twin Oaks Country Inn, TBA.
Baked goods prepared by seniors will be for sale. Also, two tickets for the Bears vs. Packers game on Jan. 2 will be raffled off at 1 p.m.
