At 9:30 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a fire in a fireplace in a home in the 10300 block of 286th Ave., Salem.
Dispatch reports that the fire is in the flue and that occupants are getting out of the building.
UPDATE 9:43 a.m. — Deputy on scene reports no active fire at this time.
