Randall School students and staff honored the contribution of veterans — local and elsewhere — in an all-school assembly Thursday afternoon. The vets also were served lunch at the school
The assembly included a presentation to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight Organization. The school’s goal was to raise enough money to send one World War II veteran to Washington DC to see the World War II memorial. The efforts exceeded the goal and enough money was raised to send two World War II veterans to Washington DC.
