The Sharing Center, Western Kenosha County’s primary relief agency, has announced a change in sign-up for its Christmas holiday program.
While the deadline for Thanksgiving client and sponsor sign-up ends Friday, Nov. 12, the Christmas holiday sign-up will continue until Friday, Dec. 3.
Thanksgving and Christmas family clients and sponsors are urged to stop by or call the Sharing Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday, to sign up and/or pick up information for the holiday distributions. There will be no mailouts to Thanksgiving sponsors after Nov. 12; however, Christmas mailouts will continue until Friday, Dec. 3.
The Sharing Center’s Anonymous Angels that make these programs work come from all walks of life: private businesses, churches and church organizations, community organizations and even a shrine. But the mainstay of the Sharing Center’s Adopt-a-Family program, of course, is individual citizens.

Drop off and pick-up dates are:
- Thanksgiving, Saturday, Nov. 20.
- Christmas, Saturday, Dec. 18.
Dropoff and pickup location is the same for both dates: Holy Cross Catholic Parish- Wilmot , at the Intersection of Highway C and B. Dropoff time for sponsors is 6 to 10 a.m.
Pickup time for client families is 11 a.m. to 2p.m. both dates.
