Earl Hollister recognized for role in driving Bristol incorporation

Bristol village President Richard Gossling presents a plague in honor of former town Chairman Earl Hollister to Hollister's daughters Dorothy Niederer and Carol Nichols.

Former Bristol Chairman Earl Hollister was recognized at a Village Board meeting recently for his role in Bristol’s incorporation.

A plaque presented to Hollister’s daughters Carol Nichols and Dorothy Niederer by village President Richard Gossling read:

“In recognition of your vision and foresight that guided future town/village leaders to remain focused on your goal for Bristol to incorporate. Your progressive thinking finally became a reality on December 1, 2009.”

“I think my father is happy,” Nichols said.
