A benefit to help David Engstrom pay medical bills related to his battle with cancer will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Nov. 6 at the American Legion Hall, 307 N. Cogswell Drive, Silver Lake.
Engstrom, who is Silver Lake’s municipal judge, was diagnosed with colon cancer about 18 months ago. About a month ago, he was diagnosed with liver cancer.
A $10 donation includes admission, food, beer, live music and a chance to win a flat screen TV.
