At about 5:40 p.m., units from Salem Fire/Rescue are responding to a grass fire in the 24600 block of Highway JB in Brighton.
Dispatch says burning area estimated to be about 35 feet wide by 12 feet long.
Fire personnel at scene reports that besides grass lawn mowers are now burning. Additional engine being dispatched from Trevor station.
UPDATE 6:21 p.m. — Fire extinguished; fire command being terminated.
