The winds of the last few days have calmed some today. Right now, Kenosha Airport is recoirding wind in the high teens with gusts of in the low 20s.
It’s going to be noticeably cooler today with a forecast high of just 44, says the National Weather Service.
Over the last two days, some of the highest winds in the state were recorded near here. On Tuesday, a 68 mph gust was recorded at Kenosha Airport. On Wednesday, a 58 mph gust was recorded there.
Temperatures are supposed to creep back into the 50s Friday and over the weekend, but there’s a 20 percent chance of rain on Sunday to dampen trick or treating plans.
