Boy Scouts to host haunted hayride and fort

The Boy Scouts are running a Haunted Hayride at Camp Oh-Da-Ko-Ta over the next two weekends.

The ride is in big wagons pulled by tractors and includes a haunted fort. The Scouts themselves set up the spooky trail, jumping out and scaring people (it’s not too bad….lots of little ones have loved this in the past), etc. They also will be selling brats, hamburgers, cider and hot chocolate.

Camp Oh-Da-Ko-Ta is located just north of Highway 50 on Highway P (3363 Dyer Lake Road).

Dates are Oct. 22, 23, 29, 30. Times are Fridays 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturdays 6 to 9:30 p.m.

Cost is $6at the door and $5 for advanced sign up and payment. Go to www.sewisbsa.com and click event sign up.
