The State of Wisconsin Barns will be the subject of a presentation on Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Community Library, 24615 89th St., Salem.
Nancy Schumm-Burgess will discuss the evolution of the Wisconsin barn from the early settlers to the remnants of barns still present on the landscape today. Learn how many historic barns remain in Wisconsin and about current projects that encourage their preservation in the state.
