Joseph Riesselmann
Longtime Paddock Lake Village Board member Joe Riesselmann may be returning to the board.
An agenda for a special board meeting on Monday at 6 p.m. lists Riesselmann’s name as a proposed appointee to the position left vacant by the resignation of Howard Schlichting.
Riesselmann was not re-elected in April.
Schlichting resigned Sept. 24 in a letter to the village. He cited infighting among board members and the adverse effect that was having on his health as reasons for his departure.
Appointments to vacant trustee positions are made by the village president and approved by the board.
