The Central Falcon boys volleyball hosted the Tremper Trojans in an SEC tilt Thursday. The Falcons moved to 3-0 in conference with a 4 game victory over the upstart Trojans. Central raced out to an early lead and stretched it to 21-9 before winning 25-10 on superior serving by Nick Manning and offense by the Falcons. The second set was a bit sloppy on both sides with Central playing to a 25-22 win. The third set was even more loose on the Falcon side of the net and allowed the Trojans some life, falling 25-22. The Falcons took some encouragement from Coach Wayne Schultz and came out with new determination and dominated the 4th set. Solid defense and serve receiving by Andrew Thoss and and hitting by all the big four for Central, Mike Michelau, Nick Manning and Caleb Mobile and Sam Picchetti feasted on the excellent assists from Dayton Erickson to finish off the Trojans 25-11.
