Units responding to report of car in Lily Lake

At 9:24 p.m., units from Town of Wheatland Fire Department and Twin Lakes Rescue are responding to a report of a car having driven into Lily Lake in Wheatland.

Dispatch reports that incident was reported by people at a tavern on the east side of the lake that saw a car go into the lake on the west side of the lake near the boat launch. Dive team members being dispatched.

UPDATE 9:26 p.m. — Personnel at scene reports that people are in the water.

UPDATE 9:30 p.m. — One person is out of the water and that may be the only person involved.

UPDATE 9:34 p.m. — Dive team members and squads with boats still responding.

UPDATE 9:37 p.m. — Rescue workers have not confirmed that everyone is accounted for.

UPDATE 9:43 p.m. — Dive team units from Salem, Bristol and Randall responding or on scene.

UPDATE 9:46 p.m. — Some mutual aid units returning to quarters.

UPDATE 10:07 p.m. — Tow truck being called for vehicle.
