Not to be discouraged by a little rain, Riverview School’s PTO hosted its first annual “Back to School STOMP,†Saturday.
The event was a 5K community walk through the streets of Silver Lake to raise funds for the benefit of the students of Riverview School. The PTO funds activities for students such as field trips, 100 Mile Club, after school events including Science Night, Family Nights, Earth Day Picnic, Battle of the Books, Reading Racers, Santa’s Secret Workshop, school dances, Book Fair and many more.
Festivities followed the walk for all participants and their families.
